Skipper is eyeing a top-line of Rs 3,700 crore by financial year 2018-19. Currently, the company's revenue stood at Rs 1,165 crore. Moreover, the company has an order book of Rs 2,200 crore. The current order book is sufficient to fully utilize the capacity for next two years.
With three manufacturing plants in West Bengal, Skipper gets orders for transmission towers and poles from Power Grid and other transmission companies.
Skipper is engaged in structural fabrication and manufacturing of mild steel and galvanized iron pipes, steel tubular poles, scaffolding and accessories and PVC pipes. Structural fabrication is the major contributor to the revenue of the company.
